Galerie Templon Brussels

11 September 15 - 24 October 15

The exhibition of Atul Dodiya, Mahatma and the Masters, can be visited at Galerie Daniel Templon, in Brussels, until the 24th October of 2015.

Atul Dodiya, a contemporary Indian artist, born in 1959. Using painting and photography, the artist focuses on episodes of the life of Gandhi and combines them with contemporary and modern occidental artists, such as Mondrian, Picasso or Duchamp. The result is a confrontation between two different moments of history: the fight for the independence of India, between 1910 and 1947, and important moments of European art.
