Ana Vidigal

Galeria Baginski

26 April 17 - 6 June 17

Ana Vidigal will present from 26 April, on Galeria Baginski, new works, paintings and collages on paper. Ana Vidigal has always stated that her work is about time; her way of facing and understanding it. It is about this new (particular) time, where strategies and errors from the past are however repeated, that this new set of works unfolds.

“I have all this things kept away. When i begin a new cycle of work I open boxes, I choose (things). These things that have been put aside for the last ten years are the matter of this exhibition’s time/body of work.
These were the things that stood out this time. I wondered why.
I came to realize I always knew the answer. This is a political time. A time that suddenly fell on our lap.”
