In his sixth solo show at Galeria Vermelho, Escritexpográfica, Fabio Morais is presenting artworks that lend continuity to his research around writing not only as an exercise of text and of the construction of narratives, but also as the appropriation, use and recontextualization of images and texts in an exercise of “writing/sampling,” as the artist puts it. They are graphic articulations of writing, which add to the word the condition of being an image, thus creating new meanings that provoke an analytic look at the Brazilian and global political context.
